The Interfaith March for Peace & Justice is a positive, non-partisan event meant to give voice to the following proposition: “It is our intention to affirm the freedom of religion (guaranteed by the 1st Amendment of the U.S. Constitution) and to condemn all acts of discrimination, harassment, intimidation, or violence directed at people because of their religion, race, or place of origin.”
We invite all people of good will who agree with our proposition to join us, regardless of their faith background (or lack thereof). We require only that all marchers be committed to carrying out a peaceful, non-partisan event in the spirit of unity and finding common ground.
Visit interfaithmarch.com for more information about the history and principles, or for help organizing a march in your community.
